Another Day

So my summer vacation is coming to a end. I have applied to numerous companies and only one has hired me. I have a interview next week for another job at a second hand store further North. As long as the pay is at least equal to my current job, I will take it. I also applied to a tea store, which I might get with the help of a school counselor. I would really prefer this job since it is a earlier start time. This would allow me to work at my field placement. I don't think I'm going to have any free time for the next eight months. As long as I graduate next year with my Master's, I'm fine!

Until next time!

What a day!

I'm exhausted! I have maybe 4-5 hours of sleep due to watching the memorable and unforgettable wedding of my lifetime. After finally getting some rest, I went to the mall and got a free smartphone. Kudos to Best Buy and their weekend special. Now I can connect with my family and friends at anytime other than waiting for a wifi connection or communicating through Google Voice. I will still use the account since my blog account is through Google.

I love when I have a day off from work and school. I browsed the car lots and attempted to purchase something at the mall. There was nothing to add to my collection. I love to shop, but I'm not going to spend money and regret my purchase later. I did get to spend time with my God-Sister, which was nice even if it was for a brief moment.

Well until tomorrow...

A Royal Wedding

In less then five hours Commoner Catherine "Kate" Middleton will become a Princess. My mother watched the Royal Wedding in 1981 and a year later Kate, William and myself were born in 1982. When I was younger, I realized who Prince Williams was and like most girls wanted marry him or any other "Prince." I grew up playing games such as Pretty Pretty Princess, attended or organized Princess birthday parties. Girls grew up watching Disney movies such as The Little Mermaid and Aladdin. There was no escaping the "I want to be a Princess!" syndrome. With this comes spectacular, over-done weddings to be a Princess/Queen for the day.

With Kate and William, they appear to be low-key and doing things their way for the wedding. Yes, I will be up to watch the closely guarded dress that Kate will wear at Westminster Abbey. One day I can tell my children that I watched the royal wedding of my generation. I think her gown will complement her and can't wait to post the gown after the wedding. One of my dream dresses for a wedding would come from Allure Bridals Collection. The gown is gorgeous.

Here's to Prince William and Kate. Many well wishes to the two of you and your family!

Night before finals

I can't believe I have one last final as an undergrad and then I'm done. I'm going to miss my fellow classmates. You all have been a joy in my life one way or another. As a good friend and listener has stated "people are in our lives for a season and for a reason." This is so true. People that I haven't seen in person for years, I still interact with and feel very close to. I hope to continue to have you in my life for longer than a season.

Rainy day

Finally relaxing at home on this rainy day. Today I have already worked before the crack of dawn, so no work until Thursday. I have completed my math final and only have my Practice class final on Thursday. I should be good to go for that class and then I'm done! It feel like it took forever to get to this point, but I made it. A few weeks off then begins grad school. I would like to get my PhD, but I think I'm going to wait a bit. Ten more months I can tolerate. Here's to a few more months of school!

Happy Easter

Oh I remember when I was younger when you couldn't wait 'til you received your Easter basket, full of goodies. This was the holiday that tied you over until the next candy or gift day that people celebrate throughout the year. You dressed in your Sunday best if you went to church. There is one memory I have that my grandfather took all the grandchildren to a Easter party and it was so fun. We were dancing to the music with our Easter outfits still on. Those were the days of being young and carefree!
Whatever your preference for Easter, I hope you enjoyed yourself today!

"Just right" Weather

I had a short work day and enjoyed some of the beautiful weather. Sunny and not too hot, ahhh! With the sunny day it rejuvenated me for upcoming outfits. I have purchased some Indian/bohemian inspired necklaces and bracelets from two of my fave accessory stores: H&M and Forever 21. I also purchased a lightweight black and white print Navajo style scarf. Oh I can't wait until I can wear my new finds. Until then...
